'Avatar: Fire and Ash': Zoe Saldana teases "the stakes are super high" for third installment
"If you thought 'Avatar: The Way of Water' was big and impactful, 'Fire and Ash' is going to be an experience unlike anything."
"The stakes are super high right now,"
"It's a culmination in a way of the whole adventure across the previous two films."
"It's the continuation of this saga that has all the action that a James Cameron movie has as well as things that no one's ever seen before on a big screen."
20th Century Studios released a featurette for Avatar: Fire and Ash. Zoe Saldaña, who plays Na'vi warrior Neytiri, said the stakes are super high for the third installment. Director James Cameron described the film as a culmination of the whole adventure across the previous two films. Sam Worthington said the film continues the saga with James Cameron’s signature action and previously unseen big‑screen moments. Co-stars Sigourney Weaver and Kate Winslet also appear in the featurette. A Nightwraith creature and an exclusive look will debut during ESPN's Monday Night Football halftime. Advance tickets are available and the film opens in theaters December 19. Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water stream on Disney+. The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of 20th Century Studios, Disney+ and this ABC station.
