Ann Wilson Announces Tour for In My Voice Documentary
"This film is my story in my own words, told the way I've always wanted to tell it. It's about finding my voice, keeping it alive, and sharing the journey with the people who've been part of it all along."
"It's hard to describe how cruel some of them are. There was one post of my husband dead in the hospital, and I was leaning over him, crying on a handkerchief. His daughter called, wondering what was going on with her dad. That's when it struck me that this stuff is really bad."
"It's kind of hurting our ticket sales and it's bothering our business. Despite reports to Meta, nothing has changed."
Ann Wilson, the legendary Heart frontwoman, announced a North American tour to promote her documentary In My Voice. Each tour date includes a film screening followed by a Q&A session with Wilson and director Barbara Hall, along with exclusive merchandise available only to attendees. The tour runs from May 11th in Seattle through June 1st in Boston, with stops in Vancouver, Chicago, Cleveland, Nashville, New York, and Toronto. The documentary chronicles Wilson's 75-year life journey using home movies, photographs, journals, and previously unseen footage. Wilson has also spoken publicly about AI-generated images circulating on social media that misrepresent her and her family, negatively impacting Heart's ticket sales and business.
