""I'm excited to work with these incredible actors, who are approaching this process with an openmind and a deep respect for my sister Anna," writer-director Liz Sargent said in a statement. "When Icast, I'm looking for something deeply human - a personal connection that goes beyond character. It's an honor to have this cast share a piece of themselves into my family's intimate and vulnerable story.""

The story follows Anna, a 38-year-old Korean adoptee with a cognitive disability who cares for aging parents as a Florida heatwave disrupts their routine and she builds a thriving world of her own. The film is produced under Cyprian Films New York and All Caps with multiple executive producers and organizational partners.
