Aeva Andersson is a model from Donegal who has lived in London, Dublin, Virginia, and Dubai, but finds Lahore uniquely welcoming. She nearly abandoned her modelling career during a difficult year and experienced waning self-confidence. In response, she wrote down a goal to see herself on a billboard. Within months the goal materialized when she saw her image on a billboard in Pakistan. The billboard appearance marked a turnaround in her career and symbolized acceptance and success in a city that she describes as unparalleled compared with other major cities she has lived in.
