Fatima Bosch, 25, of Mexico was crowned Miss Universe 2025. Bosch is a humanitarian and volunteer. A live-streamed meeting in which a Thai pageant director berated her prompted contestants to stage a walkout, raising her profile as a fan favorite. Bosch was crowned by Victoria Kjr Theilvig of Denmark. The top five included Thailand's Praveenar Singh, Venezuela's Stephany Abasali, the Philippines' Ahtisa Manalo and Ivory Coast's Olivia Yacé. The event featured representatives from 120 countries, including Nadeen Ayoub, the first woman to represent Palestinian people, who reached the top 30. The three-week competition included national costume showcases, swimwear and evening rounds, performances, and final questions on global issues and empowerment.
