Founded in London in 2011 by Jet Shenkman from a Kensington basement, Eponine London specialized in 1950s and 60s silhouettes with bold patterns and colours. The label gained major visibility in 2016 when the Princess of Wales wore a red-and-white gingham skirt suit, triggering a surge of interest that transformed business overnight. Princess Eugenie also wore the brand. After 15 years, the studio will close and AW25 will be the final collection. The founder expressed gratitude for the journey, called dressing the princess a wonderful gift, and cited a wish to pursue new pastures.
