Kameleon
Briefly

The Kameleon project, featuring photography by Simone Auricchio and art direction by Fabiana Borriello, is a visual exploration of fluid identity and creative expression. Set in a stylized landscape reminiscent of Monument Valley, it reinterprets the cowboy icon, traditionally tied to masculinity, as a source of cultural critique. Characters signify contemporary chameleons within a hyper-real and theatrical space, where clothing becomes symbolic and acts as both masks and rituals. This artistic endeavor celebrates transformation and the liberating potential of identity, reflecting on being multifaceted or at times neither.
Kameleon deconstructs the cowboy icon, reshaping masculinity and cultural belonging, allowing identities to shift fluidly through fashion and art.
The project constructs a boundary-less space where the characters in the visual narrative embody contemporary chameleons, exploring themes of identity and transformation.
In Kameleon, every accessory and pose transforms the underlying narrative, turning traditional symbols into objects of critique and exploration.
The work celebrates the freedom of fluid identities and reimagined visual codes, illustrating how one can simultaneously be many things or indeed, none at all.
