""As an art director and photographer, I'm always interested in the push and pull between elegance and disruptions. When working with fashion, I feel like this balance gets very sensitive, and therefore very fun", Elvin explains."
"The Atelier Cru collection is built on the concept of plies in clothing, and may be layered and peeled to create variations of style and un/dress. Basques can be added to jackets to create cover and volume. Double construction coats may be worn as separate layers of twill or ripstop nylon."
""These garments are special because you can reshape them by zipping up, folding and removing parts. Working with the photographs, I wanted to take this concept a step further", Elvin adds."
Atelier Cru collaborated with graphic designer and photographer Elvin Odelholm for Winter 25/26 imagery inspired by the exocarp, the outermost layer of plants and fruits. The images explore a tension between elegance and disruption within fashion. The collection centers on plies and modular construction: garments can be layered, peeled, reshaped and reconfigured by zipping, folding and removing parts. Basques add cover and volume; double-construction coats separate into twill or ripstop layers. Atelier Cru was founded last winter by Göran Sundberg with a workshop-focused approach and a high-low aesthetic combining subculture elements with refined, atelier-made wardrobe components.
