Caleb McLaughlin on 'New York Swag' and Life After 'Stranger Things'
"This was actually my very first Coach show so I was happy to attend, and my outfit was handpicked by Stuart himself. I loved the contrast with the leather jacket, the blue jeans, and the button-up."
"I guess [New York Fashion Week] does feel different this year. I'm older, and I understand what it takes to bring people to the city and showcase fashion runways-and I'm seeing it in a different light. And I'm seeing some people that I didn't realize were in town. But then I'm just like, 'Oh, it's Fashion Week, duh.'"
"I feel like it was cool to add charms to the bag. It had a charm of one of Maya Angelou's books on it. Happy Black History Month! The bag has this nice color palette contrast, too-with Maya Angelou's book and a blue book of Little Fires Everywhere. I loved the look that I had. It was different, too. And it kind of went with just the New York style, New York swag."
Caleb McLaughlin attended Coach's New York Fashion Week show in a head-to-toe look curated by Stuart Vevers. The outfit paired a cotton patchwork oxford from the Repurposed collection with a leather jacket, blue jeans, and sleek sneakers. The barrel bag featured miniature book charms, including one representing Maya Angelou and another referencing Little Fires Everywhere, noting Black History Month and color contrast. McLaughlin linked the ensemble to New York style and said Fashion Week feels different now that he is older and more aware of the effort behind shows. He also stars in the animated film GOAT and favors Manhattan.
