A Late-Night Ramen Wall Was a Highlight of This Winter Wedding
"Stacy, director of global pricing at Hilton, and Dustin, director of partnerships at Sportfive, met on Hinge. At the time, they were living in Dallas-where they both grew up-but soon after, Stacy took a job in New York, and Dustin got a role that moved him to the DC area. They dated long-distance for a year before Covid hit, at which point they hunkered down together in a studio apartment. Eventually, they officially moved in together in DC, and got engaged."
"For their January wedding, the pair envisioned a modern and elegant affair with a black-and-white color scheme accented by plum bridesmaids dresses. "We wanted everything to be clean lines with subtle pops of color," they say. They skipped florals almost completely-save for the bouquets of lilies held at the ceremony-and opted for a design full of candlelight. Their favorite part, Stacy and Dustin agree, was finding ways to celebrate and showcase their respective Korean and Taiwanese cultures"
Stacy and Dustin met on Hinge in Dallas. They moved separately for work to New York and the DC area, dated long-distance for a year, quarantined together during Covid, moved in together in DC, and became engaged. Their January wedding followed a modern, elegant black-and-white aesthetic with plum bridesmaids dresses, clean lines, minimal florals limited to lilies, and candlelight. Cultural elements included Korean and Taiwanese tea ceremonies, a Shin ramen wall and themed accessories, handmade norigae place cards, welcome bags with regional snacks, a crest featuring their dogs, serene draping, and a coffee-flavored cake.
