Wojciech Szczesny has been passed fit after missing the Osasuna game through illness and is set to start in goal for Barcelona against Guadalajara in the Copa del Rey. Szczesny remains ahead of Marc-André Ter Stegen in the pecking order under Hansi Flick. Flick told Ter Stegen that if he stays he will have very few chances to play. Ter Stegen is back to full fitness following summer back surgery, but his future at the club is uncertain and he may need to leave in January to safeguard his Germany World Cup place.
