He accused them of running a television program that spreads lies and poisons the atmosphere, and claimed Barcelona’s size generates envy that prompts underhanded tactics which disregard ethical and moral codes. Laporta warned against permanent campaigns to discredit Barcelona’s badge and essence and vowed not to allow them. He affirmed that Barcelona is strong again and pledged that the club is building a glorious new chapter that will restore sporting and historical prestige.
