"Thank you to everyone I met along the way during these beautiful four years. A special thank you to President Laporta for giving me the chance to live the most incredible chapter of my career."
"Barça is back where it belongs. Visca el Barça. Visca Catalunya."
Robert Lewandowski announced via social media that he will leave FC Barcelona at the end of the season. His contract was set to expire on 30 June, and Barcelona had been open to extending it by one year, but he chose to move on. He posted an emotional video of memories and thanked fans, teammates, and club leadership, including President Laporta. He said he leaves with the feeling the mission is complete, citing four seasons and three championships. During his four-year spell after joining from Bayern Munich in summer 2022, he won three La Liga titles, a Copa del Rey, and multiple Spanish Super Cups. He will say goodbye to fans in the final home match against Real Betis, with two matches remaining to add to his 119 goals and 24 assists in 191 appearances.
