Marc Bernal returned to action after more than a year sidelined by a serious injury. He made his comeback in the win over Valencia and featured briefly against PSG as part of his recovery. Bernal identified Julian Alvarez as the player he would sign for Barcelona and also named Alvarez as the player he would most like to face, praising the Argentine forward's reputation. Bernal offered light-hearted personal preferences, naming Inigo Martinez, Fermin Lopez and Pau Cubarsi as teammates he would bring to a party, the Santiago Bernabeu as a stadium he wants to play at, and Frenkie de Jong as the teammate who surprised him most in training.
