Joan Laporta preaches Barcelona stability at presidential rally

He received a replica commemorative tile to be installed in the Passatge Johan Cruyff, handed over by Alejandro Sacristán. Laporta asserted that the club is objectively better than five years ago, crediting relentless work, courageous decisions, and a team prioritizing the crest. He said the club recovered financially, regained institutional credibility, and returned to the global spotlight. He warned against inexperienced leadership and emphasized projects like the Spotify Camp Nou and preserving democracy, freedom, and Catalan culture. Opposition candidates remain fragmented with stalled unification efforts.
