Marc Bernal started for Catalunya in a charity friendly against Palestine and played 45 minutes under the watch of Barcelona manager Hansi Flick at Montjuïc. Catalunya scored early and doubled their lead around the half hour mark, before Palestine reduced the deficit just before half-time. There were no further goals in the second half and Catalunya won 2-1. Bernal has returned from a long injury lay-off and has barely featured for Barcelona this season. He has made five appearances totaling 32 minutes so far in 2025-26 and may receive more game time soon.
