Gavi is recovering from another knee operation and is closing in on a return, with expected availability around February or March to contribute in the final months of the campaign. Gavi reported he is doing very well, following agreed deadlines, and missing playing with the ball and his teammates. Ter Stegen briefly left the squad after a training knee injury but has since confirmed he is fine and will rejoin.
