Cerezo emphasized that Álvarez has a contract and must fulfill it, that Atlético want him to stay and that no player currently wants to leave. The club's recent sale of majority shares to Apollo Sports Capital does not change that stance. Barcelona are reportedly preparing a move for Harry Kane instead.
