Spotify Camp Nou redevelopment is the central pillar of FC Barcelona's economic recovery. The club awaits the 1C licence to open the Gol Nord stand and supporters' section, which would raise capacity to 62,000 and could be in place for the first home match of 2026 against Real Oviedo on 24 or 25 January if City Council approval arrives. The complete redevelopment, including the roof, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027. Beginning next season the stadium could host 105,000 spectators without the roof, with the third tier and VIP areas fully operational. Full-capacity operation could generate around €360 million annually, enabling a reduction of the approximately €1.4 billion debt.
