Pau Cubarsí, aged 18, received the Catalan Football Federation best young male player award after establishing himself at the heart of Barcelona's defence. He has become a regular starter in the demanding centre-back role under Hansi Flick. Cubarsí has demonstrated composure, discipline and consistency more commonly seen in experienced players.
