He has been included in all eighteen Barcelona squads and missed only the Celta Vigo match after being withdrawn before kickoff. At the same stage last season he had 1,305 minutes, starting fifteen of seventeen appearances and being substituted in only four. Coach Hansi Flick has preferred Eric Garcia in midfield in recent matches, leaving Casado on the bench.
