The two clubs have been in negotiations for some time, and the deal did appear to have stalled, but it seems it's been revived and a loan is now close to completion, according to Diario Sport. Barcelona are expected to pay 3 million euros plus another five in variables to bring Abdelkarim in on loan for the rest of the 2025-26 season."
