"It's an honor for the Kings League to be analyzed by such a respected institution as Harvard Business School,"
"Our goal has been to reinvent football for a new generation, and we are incredibly proud of what we've achieved in just three years. The HBS case study validates the impact of our work."
"one of the main pillars supporting our club"
Gerard Piqué engaged with MBA students at Harvard's Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports course alongside Professor Anita Elberse and researcher David Moreno to explain the Kings League's business model. The seven-a-side competition uses social media and creator-led teams to deliver a digital-first, fan-driven football experience that has attracted millions of viewers. A Final Four in Barcelona's 93,000-seat stadium reached over two million concurrent viewers. Launched on January 1, 2023, the league expanded to Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, the Middle East, and North Africa, and includes the Queens League and Kings League World Cup competitions. Piqué previously engaged with Harvard in 2017 and praised La Masia as one of the main pillars supporting the club.
