The U.S. Space Force awarded SpaceX a $4.16 billion contract to build satellites for a missile and air defense system called “Golden Dome.” A separate Space Force contract earlier in the week was worth $2.29 billion for a low-Earth orbit communications network. SpaceX’s IPO filing disclosed that one fifth of 2025 revenue came from government agencies. The company warned that government-entity business depends on changes in policies, priorities, regulations, mandates, and funding levels.
