Uber announced World Cup–focused features including Uber Shuttle services at four U.S. venues and a Travel Pass that offers savings on rides and Eats orders. Enhanced smart wayfinding improves in-app directions inside participating buildings such as airports and stadiums, guiding users from seats to Uber pickup zones. Availability varies across host city airports in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and works in host stadiums in San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Uber also offers “defeated discounts,” giving a 30% discount on the next ride up to $7 in the U.S. and Canada if a user’s favorite team is eliminated.
