EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas warned that Russia poses a direct threat to the EU, citing aggressive military tactics and increased defense spending. During her speech, she underscored the importance of the EU's 18th sanction package against Russia, arguing that it weakens Russia's military capabilities. Kallas called for unity in supporting Ukraine, warning that neglecting this support could have dire consequences. She urged for increased NATO defense spending, indicating that Europe must leverage its economic strength to counter potential threats effectively.
We have to do more for Ukraine, for our own security too. If we don’t help Ukraine further, we should all start learning Russian.
Russia is already a direct threat to the European Union, violating our airspace and conducting provocative military maneuvers near EU borders.
This is a long term plan for a long term aggression. You don't spend that much on military if you do not plan to use it.
Europe's collective economic might is unmatched. I don't believe that there is any threat that we can't overcome.
