Mussolini's Granddaughter Wins Italian Big Brother Show With $116,000 Prize

Alessandra Mussolini, a former European Parliament member and current member of Lega, won Italy’s Celebrity Big Brother, Grande Fratello VIP, after competing against 15 other contestants. She received the show’s $116,000 prize, with half reportedly intended for charity. Following her victory, she said she enjoyed everything to the fullest and regretted nothing. Her political career included service in the European Parliament from 2004 to 2024, election to the Italian Senate in 2013, and election to the Chamber of Deputies in 2008 and 1992 across several right-wing parties. She also worked as an actress and singer, releasing the 1982 city pop album Amore, and her 1980s songs later went viral online. She previously appeared on reality TV including Ballando con le Stelle and served as a judge on La pupa e il secchione.

She is currently a member of Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini's political party Lega."
