"The Irish Coast Guard was alerted to reports of two men having fallen into the waters on Tuesday afternoon March 31 at around 2:15pm. A search operation was launched in response with the Coast Guard helicopter, search units and Aran Island Lifeboats deployed to the scene."
"At approximately 4pm, the Coast Guard helicopter R115 located two bodies within the search area identified by MRSC Valentia, after which Aran Island Lifeboat recovered them from the sea as part of the coordinated operation."

On March 31, the Irish Coast Guard responded to reports of two men who fell into the sea while fishing at Blue Pool in Pulleen Bay. A search operation was initiated, involving a Coast Guard helicopter and local lifeboats. The bodies of the two men were recovered around 4pm after being located by the helicopter. The Coast Guard expressed condolences to the families of the deceased, and An Garda Siochana is coordinating with the families regarding the incident.
