The Ryder Cup tournament at Adare Manor, Co Limerick, faced overwhelming ticket demand, with over 57,000 people in the digital queue. Tickets sold out within hours of going on sale. A special ticket sale for Irish residents opened at 11am, with practice day and weekly tickets also quickly selling out. Organisers noted that over 150,000 people pre-registered for early access. A second chance for ticket purchases will be available in a public ballot for global fans starting June 3.
