The Ryder Cup tournament at Adare Manor, Co Limerick, faced overwhelming demand, with over 57,000 people in the digital queue. Tickets sold out within hours of going on sale. An exclusive ticket sale for Irish residents opened at 11am, with practice day and weekly tickets also quickly selling out. Organisers noted that more than 150,000 people pre-registered for early access. A second chance for ticket purchases will be available in a public ballot for fans worldwide on June 3, 2023.
