Ryanair is totally over passengers behaving badly
Briefly

Ryanair is intensifying its crackdown on disruptive passengers by taking legal action against one who misbehaved on a January flight, aiming to enforce its zero-tolerance policy. Following an incident where a man sat in the wrong seat and verbally abused crew members, claiming diplomatic immunity, the airline has filed a private criminal prosecution. This follows another similar case earlier this year. Ryanair emphasizes the importance of ensuring all passengers can have a safe and enjoyable flight experience without disruptions caused by a few individuals.
"It is unacceptable that passengers, many of whom are on a family holiday, are suffering unnecessary delay as a result of one unruly passenger's behavior," a Ryanair spokesperson said.
"These are just some of the potential consequences under Ryanair's zero-tolerance policy for passengers who disrupt flights."
Ryanair said the Guardia Civil, Spain's military police, removed him from the plane, causing a 40-minute delay.
The airline said it had filed a private criminal prosecution through the Spanish courts after an incident in January.
