Jules Thomas, a 73-year-old Welsh artist living in west Cork, recently participated in a private ash-scattering ceremony for Ian Bailey at Dunmanus Bay. Despite the significance of the event, she reported not feeling emotional during the ceremony. Thomas is currently writing a book reflecting on her life and the repercussions of the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier, for which Bailey remains the chief suspect. She described the ceremony as a calm and peaceful moment in her journey.
