The 125-kilometer race was marred by rain, cobblestones, and gravel, contributing to multiple crashes and punctured tires that fractured the peloton. Eilidh Shaw from the UAE Development Team secured third place. Andersen's team expertly positioned her for the final sprint, allowing her to secure her second win of the season after winning the Ronde de Mouscron.
