"Every county will now come under a Status Orange wind warning as a result of Storm Bram, with a number of new start and end times issued by Met Eireann. Counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, and Waterford will be under a warning from 7am until 3pm today. From 11am, all of Connacht and counties Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath will be under a Status Orange wind warning, with that warning staying in place until 9pm."

Storm Bram is prompting nationwide Status Orange wind warnings across Ireland with staggered start and end times covering all counties. Status Orange wind warnings apply for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford from 07:00 to 15:00 on December 9, and for many other counties from 11:00 to 21:00, with Donegal covered from 14:00 to 21:00. Status Yellow rain warnings affect Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford overnight into the morning of December 9. Very strong winds, high coastal water levels and heavy rainfall are expected from late December 8 through December 9, creating risks to travel, coastal flooding and local infrastructure. Commuters in Cork and Kerry are experiencing travel disruption with cancellations and delays reported.
