Qingjiang sits between the northern foothills of the Yandang Mountains and Yueqing Bay, with Furong Pond forming the core of a regional ecological corridor. Growing suburban agro-cultural tourism motivates a landscape intervention focused on Furong Pond. Two primary landscape nodes are defined: an Ecological Island Wharf and Qingyang Park on the opposite shore. The plan reinstates a short-distance ferry connecting the two nodes to reanimate waterborne movement. The ferry and nodes are intended to establish a distinctive water-based ecological and cultural destination for Qingjiang, integrating tourism, ecology, and local cultural experience.
