"The Himachal Pradesh government, in India, has finalized 46 out of 90 surveyed sites for establishing electric bus charging stations to support the deployment of 327 e-buses. According to The Times of India, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri announced a state budget allocation of ₹20 crore (approximately €2.3 million) for the project, complemented by over ₹110 crore (approximately €12.7 million) in funding from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard)."

The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited will handle electrical transformer installation, while the Himachal Pradesh Bus Stands Management and Development Authority (HPBSMDA) will conduct related civil works.
