A dense fog advisory covers North Bay Interior Valleys from Monday 10:03 p.m. until Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m., with visibility expected to fall to one-quarter mile or less. Such low visibility creates hazardous driving conditions and may cause sudden stops or shifts in traffic patterns. Drivers are advised to slow down, use low-beam headlights and fog lights if available, maintain increased following distance, and use lane markings to stay in lane. Avoid high-beam headlights because they produce glare. In near-zero visibility, activate hazard lights and pull into a safe parking area; if no parking exists, pull as far off the road as possible.
