The San Francisco tidal gauge forecasts high tides approximately 1.4 ft above normal Friday and Saturday and 1.3 ft above normal Sunday, including up to 0.4 ft of storm surge from an incoming swell that will enhance tide heights. High tide timing can vary up to 90 minutes along the coast and bay. Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with isolated closures is expected. Travel may require extra time; avoid driving through flooded or barricaded roads. Sandbag use instructions and county pickup locations are provided. Flash flood warnings indicate sudden floods can develop within minutes to hours.
