Spurs legend Ledley King on kicking racism out of football'
Briefly

Ledley King visited Duke's Aldridge Academy to emphasize educating young individuals about racism in sports. In collaboration with artist Emmely Elgersma and the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, students engaged in art sessions reflecting on diversity. Ledley shared how racism fueled his determination instead of hindering his goals. Belvin Lewis, representing the Foundation, underscored the importance of education in combating discrimination. The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation's ongoing initiatives, including holiday camps under the Premier League Kicks program, continue to promote diversity and support thousands of youth in high-need areas like Tottenham.
The Premier League has a powerful voice to help educate people, Ledley said. It's important we use our platform as a Premier League club to educate young people so they understand how to deal with discrimination.
This campaign is close to my heart having grown up in this area. The pupils told us what inspired their amazing drawings, that it doesn't matter where you're from or what colour you are.
