"Roli feels good here, he loves the club, he doesn't want to leave at any cost, but I think he still has one big step left in his career, a really big club. From here, he can only sign for a team that is truly one of the top teams in the world. Liverpool could be such a destination, and I admit, I wouldn't be surprised if this club change happened now."
"I know that contact has already been made through a management office. I don't want to and I don't want to shout anything, but my son will really have a good chance in the summer, if there is an offer that is also beneficial for Galatasaray, to change country and level."
Roland Sallai, a Hungarian right back currently at Galatasaray, is being linked with a move to Liverpool. His father, Tibor Sallai, revealed that contact has been made through management and expressed confidence his son could make the transfer in the summer. Sallai joined Galatasaray in 2024 after playing as a right winger for Freiburg and Hungary's national team, but has since been repositioned as a right back. Liverpool has struggled with right back options this season, making Sallai a potential target. The elder Sallai suggested his son is ready for a step up to a top-tier club and would not be surprised by a move to Anfield, which could see three Hungarians in Liverpool's starting lineup.
