European football: PSV win Dutch title after De Jong and Tillman see off Sparta
Briefly

PSV Eindhoven clinched the Dutch league title once again, defeating Sparta Rotterdam 3-1. Despite a scare when Sparta equalised, Luuk de Jong and Malik Tillman scored in the second half to secure the victory. PSV finished the season with 79 points, edging out Ajax, who momentarily led the table at one point. The result marked the 26th league title for PSV and highlighted the experience of coach Peter Bosz, making him the oldest manager to achieve this feat.
Luuk de Jong stated, 'It was a bit exciting, wasn't it? In the first half there was nothing wrong, then it becomes 1-1 and you think: 'It won't be one of those days, will it?''
PSV Eindhoven secured their eighth league title against Ajax's challenge, with manager Peter Bosz noted as the oldest to win the Dutch league at 61 years.
