New Heights in Brooklyn uses basketball as a central tool to create lifelong change for New York youth. The program combines athletic training with tutoring, test preparation, application support, campus visits, and personal and professional development services. Students receive holistic assistance aimed at preparing them for college and life beyond sports. Many participants describe the program as a second home that shapes identity and opportunity. Staff emphasize growth of the community and invite youth who love basketball to use the sport to improve educational and life outcomes.
