Ranked 46th nationally, Boston Latin received an overall score of 99.74, with a 98% graduation rate and 94% of students passing at least one AP exam, reported U.S News, which released its latest iteration of its high school rankings this week.
The rankings are based on six factors: college readiness (30%), state assessment proficiency (20%), state assessment performance (20%), underserved student performance (10%), college curriculum breadth (10%), and graduation rate (10%). In addition to its general rankings, U.S. News released its list of the top STEM high schools in the country, and nine Massachusetts schools were featured in the top 50, with Concord Carlisle High School ranking the highest in the state at No. 16.
