Hundreds of students, parents, and staff gathered at Mercy Secondary School Mounthawk’s annual awards night to recognise excellence across academic, sporting, cultural, and leadership pursuits. The evening began with highlights in STEM, innovation, and the arts, including recognition for Aoibheann Daly, recipient of the Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition Award. The LEGO Robotics team was acknowledged for a national second-place finish. Culann Dowling won the BD STEM Stars competition, and the school team won the ESA CanSat Ireland Competition. The arts were celebrated through The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which earned multiple All-Ireland Secondary School Theatre Awards. Former student Alice Fitzgibbon received an All-Ireland Scholarship from the JP McManus Scholarship Foundation. Awards were then presented across categories including Academic Excellence, Leadership, Diligence, and School Spirit.
