""Though we are divided by football, we are always on the same team in supporting the freedom to read," the BPL wrote in a Facebook post."
""Bennett's book proves he can tackle the ills of society as capably as he tackles quarterbacks," the Seattle Public Library wrote."
""No one likes to lose, but don't be mean," the Seattle based library said."
The Seattle Public Library sent 35 Seattle-themed book recommendations to the Boston Public Library following the Seahawks' Super Bowl LX win over the Patriots. The list includes titles tied to Seattle figures and topics, such as Inflation by Mark Blyth and Nicolò Fraccaroli, Michael Bennett's memoir Things That Make White People Uncomfortable, Maggie Rudd's children's book Sometimes It's Hard to Be Nice, and Clark Humphrey's Loser about the early Seattle punk scene. The Seattle library added playful, sports-related commentary to some entries. Both libraries participate in Books Unbanned, supporting teens' reading rights nationwide.
