Harvard-Westlake girls' volleyball is 7-0 under first-year coach Morgan Wijay after winning its Lakewood tournament division. Wijay left Bishop Alemany to take over a program that was 13-15 overall and 2-8 in league last season. The Wolverines will play 3-0 Marymount on Thursday at Marymount. Senior middle blocker Maya Stillwell, a 6-foot-4 Northwestern commit, anchors the middle. Another middle blocker, Penn commit Lauryn Lewis, is the daughter of former Laker Larry Lewis. Junior opposite hitter Sophia Cotter is committed to Princeton, and outside hitter Kylie Parker remains a top contributor. Palisades football had a canceled game but scheduled a Sept. 19 matchup.
