Andrew Rodriguez began playing golf at age three and now competes as an 18-year-old senior at La Serna High. He earned a spot in the Curry Cup in New York for Sept. 10-12 by finishing second at the Pete Dye Course at French Lick, Ind. He helped La Serna win the Southern Section Division 1 title last spring and has committed to Long Beach State. UNDERRATED Golf provides equity, access and opportunities to athletes and helped reduce travel and course expense burdens for his family. He values competing with longtime friends during his senior year.
