Ava Passalacqua from Riverside High School won first place with her design 'We the People,' which will be displayed on a Dial-a-Ride bus for a year. The contest encouraged students to reflect on Lake County's contributions to American history. Laketran CEO Ben Capelle emphasized the importance of blending public transportation with art and community engagement. The contest was sponsored by Avery Dennison, which provided materials for the bus wrap.
