A four-day strike by San Francisco teachers ended after a tentative agreement between San Francisco Unified School District and United Educators of San Francisco. The agreement provides fully funded healthcare, wage improvements, protections related to AI, limits on contracting out special education, and enhancements to working conditions. Union members will receive raises ranging from 5% to 8%. Parent educators will receive phased healthcare cost relief, with payments reduced 50% starting in July and eliminated by January 2027 for those who had been paying. The tentative agreement totals $183 million.
