Students achieved the best results ever for the school, reflecting intensive hard work and prompting delight among teachers. Multiple students secured eight H1s, including Ai Lin Sun and Aoife Cashman, while one student earned eight H1s plus an H2 in Irish. Ai Lin won the Ursula Uí Chuinneagáin Bursary for Young Pianists 2024 and plans to start a dual degree in Dentistry at RCSI alongside a Bachelor in Music (Piano) at the Royal Irish Academy of Music after an institutional exception. Several students described pre-result nerves followed by relief and happiness at strong outcomes. Appeals for individual grades are being considered.
"The best results ever that our students have achieved, the hard work has paid off. The teachers are delighted. So we congratulate all of the students."
"It's going to be a dual degree, and an exception was made just for me."
"I'm hoping to get that appealed 'cause I did work really hard all year and I believe I should get nine."
"I was so nervous last night-I didn't think I was gonna do well," she admitted. "but I was so delighted this morning when I went onto the portal at 9:30 and it was really good. I'm really happy with how I did."
